Finishing strong. Together.

Derek Redmond is not a name that conjures up memories of Olympic gold medals. In this video, you will discover the essence of the human spirit as you witness Redmond struggling his way to the finishing line of the 1992 Olympic 400m semi-final heats after tearing his right hamstring only 175m away from the finishing line.

But that's not all.

Redmond's dad, upon seeing his son in trouble, rushes down from the stands onto the track to assist him. Together, arm in arm, father and son, with 65,000 people cheering, clapping and crying, finish the race, just as they vowed they would.

Facing a painful situation in life? Feeling tired and overwhelmed with life's struggles? Don't think of giving up yet. Finish strong cos' I've got a pretty good feeling the BIG guy up there is with you all the way.
